The day starts with a shuttle pick-up from your door, so there is no need to fuss over who's driving. We head to the boat ramp for our morning cruise, usually on a glassy lake with the blue-sky Cromwell is famous for. We beach the vessel and walk to our first venue, Matt Connell Wines, for a complimentary guided tasting. This boutique winery perfectly shares the story of our small-scale producers who know every drop in every bottle. Back to the boat for our second cruise past the Old Cromwell heritage area, up the Kawarau River to Carrick. This organic-certified winery has both stunning wines and grounds, the perfect lunch layover. Our last Cruise takes us to Cloudy Bay, a world-famous name even our international guests will recognise.
