All clients must warrant that they have acceptable fitness & no medical condition that will cause them concern during the activities. It is at our discretion if any customer is deemed incapable of participation.
Client cancellation within 24 hours from the tour departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee. All other client cancellations will incur a 10% administration fee. Covid 19 related cancellations will receive a full refund or a credit. There will be no refund on any portion or part of a guided trip once the trip has departed. Client 'no-shows' who fail to notify cancellation will not receive a refund. Riverbug.nz reserve the right to cancel or amend any tour for any reason.
Our riverbug tour starts at the iconic Poripori Water Holes on the Wairoa River near Tauranga. You can meet us at the river and we also offer a pick up service from Tauranga if you don't have own transport. Kitted out in wetsuits, safety gear, funky webbed gloves and flippers, we carry our bugs to the river to try them out. It’s super easy to learn and loads of fun. Against a backdrop of native forrest we explore the Wairoa’s amazing geology drifting through deep pools, sliding between rocks and down small drops amongst the Wairoaʻs impressive pot-holes carved out of the bedrock by stones and water. Splash around, try a few cool tricks and games, or just relax and take in the awesome scenery of this special place.
