Hawkdun Sunrise is one of the smallest vineyards in the heart of the Central Otago wine growing region situated in the Alexandra Wine Basin, our homestead with private accommodation has been especially designed to provide an atmosphere of quiet and peaceful relaxation, giving you the maximum privacy of your choice and a setting within the vines.
Hosts, John and Suzanne, share a love of good food, good wine and share backgrounds in the hospitality and tourism industries. They enjoy meeting new people, as such it was a natural extension of their experience to incorporate quality guest accommodation with their interest in viticulture at Hawkdun Rise. It's very much a hands-on operation in the vineyard.
