The tranquility and peacefulness of The Cottage surroundings are interrupted only by the sounds of the native Tui and Bellbird/Korimako, you may even get a glimpse of our native Wood Pigeon, the Kereru. In the evening, if you are lucky, you may hear the sound of the Morepork/Ruru.
