About

The Rabbiter’s Cottage is a lovingly restored two-bedroom retreat set beside the historic Te Aratipi Homestead on our fourth-generation sheep and beef farm. Originally built for pest-control workers, it has been thoughtfully modernised while retaining its nostalgic charm, with English wallpapers, wainscoting and a cosy farmhouse feel. The cottage sleeps up to five guests and includes a full kitchen, bathroom with claw-foot bath, wood fire and a private outdoor area. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, enjoy tennis or croquet in summer, wander native bush tracks, or add a hosted Te Aratipi experience such as a farm walk, golf or Can-Am adventure.
