Come visit us and you will taste wine with the person who actually tends the grapevines or makes the wine. Stroll among our vines, or take a walk or picnic down to the Clutha River (bring a fishing rod - the trout are biting! We are obsessed with this place, with this terroir. We use careful hand-based viticulture, low yields, small fermentations, and natural winemaking to express it.
A great wine is the expression of its terroir: the place, the soils and the people. This land and our careful farming of it may explain why our wines show particular intensity, combining lifted fruit and non-fruit flavours with sumptuous textures.
