Please note that there is a deposit of 10% required for rooms, with the balance due on arrival at Jailhouse Cottage.
Full refund of deposit if booking is cancelled within seven days of booking date i.e. expected arrival. After that 25% refund of deposit up to two days before expected arrival date. Cancellation two days or less will result in no refund of deposit.
The cottage was originally built from former army huts so is quirky and unusual, it has been updated and is completely double glazed. Facilities include: Continental breakfast, kitchen with microwave, toaster, stove and fridge/freezer, lounge, shower room and separate toilet. Bike storage and bike charging point. Large garden with ample seating. In addition the cottage boasts an historic 2 cell jail (lockup) circa 1863-1947 which is located at the side of the property and has recently been lovingly restored by the current owners Chris and Mark Ford.
Stay a while as there is much to do in Middlemarch, cycling the Rail Trail, walks on the Rock and Pillar Ranges, fish on the Taieri River, visit Sutton Salt Lake and more.
