Please note that for safety reasons a minimum of 2 walkers is required to complete the walk. Make sure you bring suitable attire for various conditions. Chilly evenings and red hot days can always surprise you in the Wairarapa. Safety is very important to us so we give you a briefing and a farm 2 way radio for the duration of your walk for emergency use.

About

Kawakawa Station is one of the oldest sheep and beef stations in South Wairarapa located at Cape Palliser which is the southernmost tip of the North Island and home to the famous Cape Palliser lighthouse. Kawakawa Station 3 Day Walk is a bucket list experience and we would love to host you and your family and friends. The walk takes you on a journey around the Station where you will experience diverse landscapes including mountain and coastal views, ancient native bush with an abundance of bird life, clear rivers to take a dip in and incredible night skies. Our walk is fully catered, you just need to bring your drinks which we will have chilled for you when you reach your unique accommodations each night and we even transport your bags.
