Since 1981 we've supported the development of Northland creatives. Our leafy peaceful site is a space for creatives to connect, exhibit and deepen practices. All are welcomed to explore and use the grounds, gallery, kilns and workshop program.

Quarry Gallery spaces and shop open Mon - Sat 9.30am - 4.30pm There is no entry fee or cost to access the grounds, shop or gallery spaces. Grounds open to visitors every day with walking access to Coronation Reserve (links to Whangarei Quarry Gardens). The Quarry Arts Centre is easily accessed by a 10 minute stroll from central Whangarei and has ample on-site car parking.
The Quarry Arts Centre is the home of community arts in Whangarei. Established in 1981 on the site of an old quarry, the centre has continued to evolve as an arts space where creatives come together to create, exhibit, teach, discuss and connect with one another with workshops, galleries and studio spaces.
