After making a module for the sea garden, you have a choice of reinforcing 'Voyages' can include biking to set yourself free, bush walking to discover awe, kayaking Pakihikura Habour, Zeand Fishing, exploring Opotiki history, and more.

The 'Wharf Hub' is currently home base to three ventures. Accommodation mainly for overseas WHV holders; the charitable Opotiki Community REAF Trust; and new in 2023, workshops in Sea Gardening. Indigenous sea gardens produced bountiful seafood for centuries by focussing on reciprocity and the common good. Opotiki has a designated 'Community Reef' area in which marine enhancing materials may be deployed. In the Sea Gardening Workshop you will both learn some theory on how sea gardens work, and make you own personalised module that will be added to the Community Reef.
