About

Trail Sharing reduces the cost and logistical barriers for cyclists, trail runners and trampers completing the Timber Trail or another of the many one-way trails throughout New Zealand. It provides a secure means to plan, connect and exchange vehicles so both parties can drive to their respective trail heads before cycling or walking back to their own vehicle. Participating users enter our terms of agreement ensuring both parties are aware of the responsibilities and cover taken on by them, and those that extend to them, during all steps of their Trail Sharing journey. We are a completely free service here to help people enjoy the amazing New Zealand outdoors.
