Getting around

Cruise ships arriving into Picton berth at Waitohi Wharf, 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of the picturesque township.

To access the Queen Charlotte Sound you can catch many of the water transport options from Picton Marina. If you would like to go further afield to Havelock or on a winery tour it’s a good idea to join one of the organised shore tours or organise a rental car.

On foot

Picton is a small town and is easy to explore on foot. Walking from one side of town to the other takes less than 20 minutes.
