We start our journey leisurely hiking alongside the picturesque Route Burn river before heading up to Bridal Veil Waterfall and a swing bridge then leads us through to the Routeburn Flats.
If you are feeling adventurous we can continue hiking up to the Routeburn Falls Hut through spectacular beech forest and take in views of the Humboldt Mountains.
Routeburn Flats – 13km/8 miles return, easy 4 to 5 hour return hike or the Routeburn Falls Hut – 17.6km /11 miles return hike, moderate 6 to 8 hour return hike
