The tour can run in all but the foulest of weathers.
This tour of exhibits and art related to marine enhancement are set up in the grounds of the Wharf Hub. The walk and talk tour takes about an hour. It ends with you making a mauri stone for the Opotiki Community Reef. Two persons minimum. Suggested $40pp koha (donation). Tour guides are knowledgeable members of the Opotiki Community REAF Trust. All 'koha' go to the charitable trust for further research and development. A slightly longer workshop tour (2-3 hours) covers the same content but ends with construction of a simple reef module. This costs a bit extra. The module is donated for deployment on the Opotiki Community Reef. Phone or book online beforehand to ensure the tour can run on your particular day and time.
