Bookings can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before reservation, depending on availability. Cancellation requires 48 hours' notice to receive a full refund. PJ's may cancel, postpone or visit alternative sites due to weather conditions and/or traditional ceremonies taking place, or when PJ's determines it is unsafe to operate. In the event that PJ's cancels a tour, this will be fully refundable.
Enter the Māori world under the guidance of our tribal ancestors at the Wai Ariki Hot Springs & Spa with a traditional karakia or prayer. Our first stop is a Māori reservation where your guide will explain the carvings, Māori medicinal plant life and introduce you to our Māori Gods. A short stroll down the road you will be immersed in New Zealand’s very own love story, Hinemoa & Tūtānekai. Our next stop is a traditional Māori village where you will be welcomed inside a traditional Meeting House. You will learn about the Māori world and our belief systems in a safe and comfortable environment, and you will leave with a deeper understanding of the Māori people, culture and traditions.
