About

Travel Ed offers amazing interactive experiences in Māori contexts along the Bay of Plenty coastline. Your local Māori guide will open the door to the Māori history, ancient stories and insight into the wonders of the culture. We are a whānau based company who are proud to share our culture with you. We will journey along the Pacific Coast Highway through the changing tribal districts learning the ancient stories from Mount Maunganui to Whakatāne. After a short bush walk feel the spiritual power of the stunning Tarawera Falls as the water cascades through the rock face. (Due to logging operations restrictions this tour is available weekends and public holidays only).
