Make the most of your Queenstown skydiving experience

Skydiving is number one on many visitors bucket lists so we’ve put together a few things to keep in mind to make the most of your skydiving experience.

Skydiving is a must do for many visitors to Queenstown but there are a few variables to keep in mind to ensure your skydiving experience is everything you hoped it would be, plus more!

Skydiving is a very weather dependent activity and sometimes if the weather isn’t suitable we aren’t able to jump. We recommend booking your skydive well in advance for your first day in Queenstown. It's best to have a few days up your sleeve so you can reschedule your skydive  for the next available time-slot. If you’re unable to rearrange your jump, you will be refunded the cost of your skydive.

Wearing appropriate clothing is very important to you overall experience. In winter, multiple layers are more suitable than one large jacket. Also don’t forget to wear footwear that won’t fall off, so leave those flip flops in your hotel.

Making sure you don’t exceed the maximum weight limit of 100kg/220lbs is very important as we can’t allow you to jump if you’re over this limit. So grab some scales and check your weight before you book your skydive.

Such an epic experience should not go unrecorded. Make your skydive experience last a lifetime by booking skydive photography and video. NZONE Skydive has the most  comprehensive photo and video pack in New Zealand which includes a 4GB branded USB containing HD edited video footage of your skydive experience and high-resolution freefall images. NZONE Skydive also uploads your pics and videos online instantly so you can brag straight away to all your mates on social media. Also included in the pack is 20 large printed photos and seven personalised postcards within a  photo folder to keep everything together.

Now that you’ve got the low down on how to make the most of your skydive, lock in your jump at and get ready to have the experience of a lifetime.
