Canterbury Trails & our supplier partners reserve the right to modify/cancel itineraries, activities or accommodation venues in any way necessary in the interests of our clients due to circumstances over which Canterbury Trails has no control. Canterbury Trails accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of such cancellations when applied. In the event of bad weather or if circumstances beyond our control make it difficult to ensure the safety of the clients & we cancel the tour.
Cancellation charges may be applicable when any booking is cancelled. If written cancellation is received at least 60 days prior to departure there is no cancellation fee. If written cancellation is received 30 - 59 days prior to departure, then the cancellation charge is 50% of the tour price. Within 30 days of departure the full tour price will be charged. Vouchers are acceptable from tour guests for day tours and payment is due by the 20th of the month following the tour.

From the main wharf in boats depart for a Nature Cruise on the harbour. See Dolphins, penguins, seals, local bird life & learn more about the local history from your boat skipper. Explore the charming 175 year old harbour side village with it’s museum of settlers history, art & craft shops & studios before enjoying lunch at an award winning cafe. On the journey back to Christchurch we visit the Cheese Factory at Barry’s Bay.
