Do you want to rock climb but are you longing for mountain adventures too? This is for you.
A 10-day Rock and Mountaineering Skills Course. The first five days will cover movement on rock, climbing technique, rope skills, multi-pitch climbing and rescues. You will then head out and do a multi-pitch mission at either:
* Sebastopol Bluffs,
* Upper Tasman Rock,
* Mt Avalanche,
* Chinamans Bluff.
The next day you'll fly into the stunning mountains, grab your ice axe and strap on crampons.
Over the next couple of days, you'll collect a lot of new skills for your mountaineering toolbox. You'll travel on glaciers, learn crampon techniques, practice climbing on ice, snow and alpine rock, learn how to place protection and to do crevasse rescues.
