Special Conditions & Offers All tours are private, with a maximum of 10 guests. Children are welcome and can be added to your booking. Local Kaikōura accommodation pick-up is available - please provide your accommodation details when booking. Wine tasting is available as an add-on for guests aged 18+. A pre-tour checklist must be completed before your tour. Please advise us of any dietary requirements, allergies or special requests when booking.
All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees are based on the number of days before the scheduled tour date that we receive your cancellation. 60+ days before departure: Full refund, less the non-refundable 20% booking deposit. 31–59 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost is forfeited. 15–30 days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost is forfeited. 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total tour cost is forfeited.
Step onto a working New Zealand farm with local farmers John & Kristin. Meet the sheep and cows, watch the farm dogs in action, walk in native bush, and enjoy a genuine, hands-on rural experience. Your visit includes morning or afternoon tea, with a chance to relax and enjoy some local hospitality on this scenic farmland. Tours are relaxed and flexible, with activities depending on your wishes, the season, the weather and what’s happening on the farm that day. All tours are private and personalised, lasting for 3 to 4 hours. Wear comfortable outdoor shoes and clothing suitable for farm conditions. A truly local experience with transport provided from Kaikōura.
