Quirky acts as agent for the campervan owner. Pay a 20% non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking; the balance is due 4 weeks before your trip. You'll choose an insurance 'Protection Plan' (Ready, Relaxed or Carefree), which sets your excess and security deposit. Bookings include unlimited kilometres, insurance and breakdown cover. The 20% deposit is non-refundable (unless a replacement booking can be found for your dates). Cancel more than 4 weeks before your trip and we'll refund the remaining fee (if already paid). Good looks aside, Fred's middle name is function. After a day in the great outdoors, rinse off with his rotatable tap, line your shoes up on the special shelves and hang your gear in the wardrobe. Then kick back: boil the kettle, throw open his fully folding doors and flop onto the bed or sofa with a good book and uninterrupted rear-door views. A Roaring Meg fireplace keeps things snug whatever the weather, and if you fancy a film by firelight you can add the projector as an optional extra. Just when you think Fred can't get any better, he reveals another quirk.
