Locally guided our tours are not experienced anywhere else in New Zealand. We provide authentic cultural experiences that enables our visitors to access our sacred mountain, renown for being the first place in the world to see the sunrise; and our nine pou (Maori carvings) which stand approximately 12ft high, and are a tribute to Maui, a Tipuna (Ancestor) and Rangatira (Leader) highly revered by the Ngati Porou people for his legacy and exploits in New Zealand and throughout the polynesian islands.
