Pet fee: $60 per stay
Rate is per night & includes cottage, wood-fired hot tub, continental breakfast supplies, WIFI, streaming channels, cleaning fee, & all linens. Check-in: 2pm. Check-out 10am. Check-in guide is emailed the day before arrival. Maximum capacity 4 people (one bedroom has a queen bed, other room has a double sofa bed & can be a bedroom or lounge). Children 2 years & over are full price. Children 0–23 months are free (portacot & linen provided). Dogs on request only; fee is $60 per stay.
If a booking is cancelled up to 14 days prior to arrival date, a full refund will be issued. If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of arrival date there is no refund. No Show Charges: No refund if guests do not show up. COVID-19 refund policy: If a guest can’t travel to MenardsNZ Ecosanctuary Accommodation due to New Zealand or International COVID-19 government restrictions, the booking will either be rescheduled to another date (if possible, no charge), or any monies paid will be refunded.
The beautifully-appointed cottage is located in a dark sky reserve in the Mackenzie Region with incredible mountain views by day and dazzling stars by night. The wood-fired hot tub is exclusively for cottage guests and perfectly placed for stargazing under spectacular dark skies filled with sparkling stars. Everything for a relaxing stay is provided: full kitchen, continental breakfast, logburner, fast WIFI. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other bedroom/lounge has a double sofabed. Driving times: 15-minutes to Twizel, 50-minutes to Mt Cook & Tekapo, 2.5 hours to Queenstown, 4 hours to Christchurch. MenardsNZ Ecosanctuary Accommodation won the Sustainability and Environmental Award in New Zealand's 2022 Ara Business Excellence Awards.
