During your stay, visit the spectacular limestone Oparara arches in Karamea, explore the region's mining history by visiting the Denniston Plateau or go for a walk on the lovely Charming Creek Walkway, one of the South Islands top five short walks. Perfect stay before or after biking/walking The Old Ghost Road.

Lodge only accessible via a 10 min. walking track up the hill (reasonable level of fitness required), luggage transport by arrangement.
Facilities include 3 double rooms and 2 triple rooms (can be booked as twins). Shared bathrooms, kitchen for self-catering and cosy lounge in main building.
