Rick Taylor has been wood turning for over 40 years and you are most welcome to visit his working studio and gallery. He also offers tuition in wood turning. From basic 1/2 day, 1 day or longer for beginners course through to advance wood turning. this is individual tuition and this be arranged for any day. Prior notice is required and ensite accommodation available in 2 bedroom Dargaville Cottage Accommodation or at the Dargaville Park Over for self contained motorhomes/caravans. Rick Taylor recovered ancient kauri from swamplands near his home in Dargaville on the Kauri Coast, in Northland during 2000 to 2003. He had samples carbon dated - the results show that the ancient kauri had been buried for around 3860 years.
