Payment Terms: All rates are quoted in NZ dollars on a per night basis and include 15% GST. All accounts must be settled directly with VU Thermal Lodge in New Zealand dollars. The prices indicated are per room, for the number of people and the date(s) selected previously, unless otherwise specified (packages). The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate fluctuations.
All cancellations must be received no later than 7 days prior to your arrival. If you cancel less than 7 days prior to your arrival you will be charged 20% of the total accommodation amount. If you cancel 48 hours prior to your arrival or less you will be charged 100% of the total accommodation amount. This includes no shows and cancellation of nights after arrival. Please note: Special events and promotional room rates/offers a no cancellation policy applies.
Location: Prime location of lake Taupo, best view point of sunsets. Healing water: natural thermal spring proven to be healing, relaxing and rejuvenation. Guest age restriction: Adults only (17 years and over)
Pets not allowed. A natural thermal bore exists 25 metres deep beneath the property, its average temperature is 48-53C degrees. Most of ground floor units having private pools; we also have a communal spa house containing two pools of 37C and 42C offering free soaking experience for all guests. Spa units are 2 room sizes - studio and 1 bedroom super king bed, uppper floor units are 1 bedroom super king bed balcony and a 2 bedroom balcony. All our linens is washed/pressed/delivered daily by commercial cleaning facilities.
