Our experiences frequently sell out, particularly during peak season (Oct-April). We strongly recommend booking online in advance. Wētā Workshop Unleashed is located on level 5, 88 Federal Street, Auckland (opposite the SkyTower)
If cancellation is made within 24 hours of arrival, there is no refund available. If cancellation is made within 48 hours of arrival, we will refund 50% of the total booking price. If a tour is cancelled by Weta Workshop, we can reschedule your tour to another day that suits you or offer a full refund. Where you are entitled to a refund, the refund will be made to the same credit card that you used to confirm the booking.
Creating a physical miniature landscape that feels like a real environment with believable elements, isn't as hard as you think. You need to be creative, yes, but our Unleashed crew will help you extract your inner artist and teach you the skills you need to create your imaginary world. You’ll be guided through a Workshop brief based on our original fantasy movie, the Age of the Ever-Clan, featured in the Wētā Workshop Unleashed experience. Your crew member will take you through the brief, examine the movie scene to understand the miniature required, and then dive right into the techniques needed to bring that scene to life.
