Getting there
Most of Auckland's wine regions are within easy driving distance of the city, while Waiheke Island is just a 40-minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland with regular passenger services operated by Fullers360. If you're travelling with a vehicle, SeaLink also offers car ferry services to the island.. Guided wine tours are also available if you'd rather leave the driving to someone else.
