Special Requests Please inform Velskov of any special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions, mobility requirements) at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requests; however, no guarantees can be made. Failure to meet special requests will not constitute a breach of contract, and no refunds or compensation will be provided.
All cancellations must be made in writing. 6 Weeks before the booking: 0% cancellation fee 4 Weeks before the booking: 5% cancellation fee 2 Weeks before the booking: 10% cancellation fee 1 Week before the booking: 20% cancellation fee Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled visit will not be refunded.
Visitors are welcomed with foraged herbal tea before embarking on a guided forest walk to discover the native plants and ecosystems of the New Zealand bush. The walk concludes with a gentle tree-planting, where each guest plants a native sapling - a GPS-located living marker of their visit that they can follow online over time. We then gather at a communal long table in an open-air glasshouse to prepare and share a fire-cooked lunch made from foraged and community-sourced produce.
