Extreme Weather Conditions Velskov reserves the right to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, including extreme weather events. Special Requests Please inform Velskov of any special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions, mobility requirements) at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requests; however, no guarantees can be made. Failure to meet special requests will not constitute a breach of contract, and no refunds or compensation will be provided.
All cancellations must be made in writing. 6 Weeks before the booking: 0% cancellation fee 4 Weeks before the booking: 5% cancellation fee 2 Weeks before the booking: 10% cancellation fee 1 Week before the booking: 20% cancellation fee Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled visit will not be refunded.
Visitors are welcomed with foraged herbal tea before embarking on a guided forest walk to discover the native plants and ecosystems of the New Zealand bush. The walk concludes with a gentle tree-planting, where each guest plants a native sapling - a GPS-located living marker of their visit that they can follow online over time. We then gather at a communal long table in an open-air glasshouse to prepare and share a fire-cooked lunch made from foraged and community-sourced produce.
