Cancellation within 24 hours of your trip starting – Full payment will be charged. No show on the day – Full payment will be charged. If the weather is not suitable for canyoning and AWOL Adventures Ltd cancels your trip – No charge is applied. If AWOL Adventures Ltd doesn’t reach minimum numbers for a trip to go ahead on the day that you have booked – No charge is applied.
Rainforest Canyoning - Abseiling (repelling) under showering waterfalls, underground streams into caves, jumps, water slides into hidden pools and mysterious water sculptured gorges. All only 40 minutes drive from Auckland central - transport supplied.
We now also offer night canyoning. You and your guide will then explore your way through the narrow canyon illuminated only by your headlamp and the glow worms on the walls. Set amongst the stunning landscape of the Waitakere Ranges - see the site of the historic Kauri logging dam, created by pioneering New Zealander's and visit the famous black sand Piha surf beach.
