Any changes to bookings once the deposit has been made will incur a $50 alteration fee, where current arrangements require alterations eg date of departure, or swapping a client name. However if additional services, or increased group numbers are required on top of the current arrangements which aren’t changing, then no fee is payable. Changes while a trip is “under development” do not incur a fee. There are no refunds for changes on the day.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise whereby you may need to make a change or cancellation to your booking. It is our goal to work with our clients to help minimise any losses from all parties; yourself, us, as well as our accommodation providers and other partners that we may work with along the trail. Please contact our reservations team for a copy of our cancellation policy. We highly recommend travel insurance to protect you against cancellation fees.

Find out moreThe Paparoa Track is New Zealand’s newest Great Walk, and the first to be designed as a shared use track for both mountain bikers and walkers. The track crosses the Paparoa mountain ranges between the small ex-mining town of Blackball and the busy tourist village of Punakaiki on the South Island’s West Coast.
The nearest towns to the Paparoa Track are Blackball, Punakaiki and Greymouth. See our shuttle timetable for services running from all these towns. We also provide a car relocation service that can transfer your car to the end of the track while your riding. Our self-guided packages include everything you need to experience the track all year round including; bike hire, accommodation bookings, shuttles and car relocation.
