Lunch is included in the rate, however you will need to bring your own water bottle.
Recommended for children ages 8+. A good level of fitness, suitable footwear and clothing for changeable conditions are required. The itinerary may be adjusted due to weather, road or track conditions. Key Summit is a 7 km return walk with a 400 m climb, taking up to 3 hours.
A full charge, or nil refund applies in the advent of you not showing up for a booked space or cancelling less than 7 days before travel.
Discover two sides of Fiordland in one full day, combining a boutique Milford Sound cruise with a guided walk to Key Summit on the Routeburn Track. Travel from Te Anau along the Milford Road, with scenic stops along the way. Cruise beneath towering peaks and waterfalls, with opportunities to spot wildlife. After the cruise, walk through native beech forest to Key Summit. This 7 km return walk takes up to three hours and includes a steady climb, rewarded with wide mountain and valley views when conditions allow. With a maximum of eight guests, this is a relaxed, personal way to experience Milford Sound and one of Fiordland’s best day walks.
