Your hire includes a PLB, instructions, pouch and dry bag. The costs of our PLB hire is $15 per day, exclusive of pick up and return days.
PLB hire can only be booked 15 days in advance. Must be 18 years or older to rent. Signed rental agreement required. Credit or debit card or valid identification provided as a security deposit held for the duration of your hire, returned when you return the PLB.
Once paid, there are no refunds provided.
You know we’re passionate about getting you out on adventures, but more importantly we want to make sure you come back in one piece! Our Personal Locator Beacons (PLBs) can be pre-booked up to 3 weeks in advance, so you can plan in advance. Whether you are out hiking, hunting, camping, paddling, or climbing, ensure your safety by hiring a small, lightweight Personal Locator Beacon from us for reliable emergency back up. The ACR ResQLink’s satellite precision and military durability, put rescue in the palm of your hands by sending your GPS location via satellite to notify rescue services of your location. The PLB is waterproof and buoyant for water based adventures. We also offer hire for crampons, ice axes and discs for disc golf too.
