Four days, three nights staying at DOC huts. Start Hawkes Bay, end Taihape.

Good fishing in the Maropea and Waikamaka Rivers and a strong possibility of whio (blue duck) sitings.

Your own food, clothing and personal tramping equipment (boots, rucksack, wet weather gear) is required (we can help). A good level of fitness is required and some prior experience of NZ backcountry tramping (or similar) is required.

Return transport to Hawkes Bay included.
