We will postpone or cancel your tour only if the weather conditions on the lake are that we consider it unsafe for the boat or passengers. We will refund or set another time for this tour to suit both parties.
Timing:
09:00am Departs The Landing, Lake Tarawera
45 minute cruise to Te Tapahoro (Tarawera Outlet)
09:45am Start the 3.5hrs return walk to the Tarawera Falls.
01:30pm Water Taxi pick up at The Jetty, Tapahoro Bay and return to The Landing.
02:15pm Arrive at The Landing, Lake Tarawera.
A minimum of two people is required.
WHAT TO BRING
Good walking shoes (Tramping boots not required), lunch, drinking water and a camera. Take your swimming costumes and a towel in the summer for a swim at designated spots.
Travel is in our all-weather boat. Refreshments available
