Amongst NZ Textile Experiences extensive range of Fibre and Art Textile Workshops is the wonderful Found and Foraged Wild Basket making, located at the tutors unique outdoor garden studio, in the beautiful Tasman region of Golden Bay. Your experienced tutor Anita Peters will share her techniques of making baskets using a variety of natural and found New Zealand materials. The workshop commences with the fundamentals of basic basket construction using cane and willow, before exploring the exciting challenges of incorporating ‘found and foraged' materials gathered from the homestead's idyllic rural woodland garden, to create baskets of every shape and form. Experience NZ creatively with fibre and textiles, making memories that last forever.
