Full payment is required to secure the booking and will be charged to the guest’s credit card within 7 days before arrival. A bond hold of $500–$1,000 NZD (depending on the property) will be placed on the guest’s credit card 7 days before arrival. This is a pre-authorisation hold only - no funds are charged to the card. The bond hold will be released within 7 working days after departure, provided the property is left in good condition. Visa/MasterCard incur a 3% fee; AMEX is not accepted.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival or early departures are non-refundable. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen changes.
Built in the early 2000s and filled with light, this three-storey home has a relaxed, slightly retro charm - think old-school vibe, big windows, and an easy flow that makes family holidays effortless. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge form the heart of the home, opening toward the sea so you can cook, chat, and watch the waves all at once. Upstairs, the queen room looks directly to Mauao and the surf, perfect for slow starts and morning coffee. The master bedroom includes a comfortable king bed and ensuite, while the third bedroom has two singles. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and there’s a lift if you’d rather skip the stairs.
