These day trip experiences focus on fishing local rivers, lakes and streams accessible by vehicle. This is the traditional approach to fishing New Zealand's famous trout rivers, with upstream sight fishing using dry flies and nymphs being the main aim of the game. We have over 40 fisheries on offer in our region ranging from large boisterous rivers that can't be crossed through to tiny lesser known streams and creeks that often hold surprises in terms of fish size. You guide will pick you up from accommodation in Te Anau or Manapouri to take you out fishing each day. We can assist in booking your accommodation options as well if you don't already have those secured. Multi-day overnight camping or hut based trips can also be arranged.
