We host The Drum Festival. Takumi Japanese Drum Group are one of the many group to perform and are always a highlight. We also host private functions and music festivals.
Native wood pigeon, the kereru, which are usually seen at the campground. We also see tui, bellbirds, fantails and lots of non native birds.
We are close to some hidden beaches and walks in the southern bays of Banks Peninsula. Just ask us for directions. This image is from the cliffs looking down the South Island.
We have 4 retro rustic cabins available for hire. Kowhai, pictured, sleeps up to 8 people in 3 small bedrooms.
Our 'little river'. The Okuti River is a favourite place to play over summer. The river is mostly shallow, so ideal for smaller kids under supervision.
We are a dog friendly campground- so you can bring your well behaved dog on a lead at all times.
We have a nice grass area for kids to play, plus a huge picnic table for guests to use, just beside the outdoor kitchen.
Powered (and unpowered) sites for camper vans and caravans. The late sun at the campground. We have shady and sunny sites with 10 powered sites available.
On busy evenings we may have a campfire, so pack the marshmallows! (not guaranteed due to weather and firewood).
We have 3 areas for tents- family camping, in The Glade, kid free in The Meadow and under the walnut trees.

Set in the secluded Okuti Valley only 45 minutes from Christchurch City. A classic Kiwi campground, like they use to be.
We have 5 hectares of native bush with silver ferns, the iconic logo of all sporting teams from New Zealand. The Manaia Native Habitat has mature trees such as totara and matai and birds including bellbirds, fantails, wood pigeons and a visiting tui.
Picnic under the 100 year old walnut trees. Stay in your campervan, tent or rent a cabin. Private camp areas for group bookings. For kids there is a playground and exploring the forest. Our Scary Slippery Slides are fun for all ages (when open). A peaceful, laid back alternative to busy holiday parks. Powered sites beside the Okuti River.
