About

Golden sandy beaches meet coastal forest and granite cliffs on this Great Walk set in our smallest but most popular national park. Known for its great weather and popular with both hikers and sea kayakers, this is an ideal walk for families and first time walkers. This track stretches from Marahau in the South to Wainui in the North and can be walked in both directions, pending the tide timetable. For this track we offer one and multi day guided walk packages as well as multi day freedom walk packages, for those who are more independent in spirit but would like certain elements arranged.
