You must be prepared for alpine conditions! We may refuse to transport you if we feel you are not prepared. This is a difficult hike so you must choose an early departure time if you require a lot of time on the track. Minimum age is 8.

Cancellation Policy angle-down

We reserve the right to cancel any time. If we decide to cancel due to bad weather you will be offered a full refund or transfer your ticket to the next best day of your choice. If you miss the shuttle you will not be refunded although we will attempt to get you on the next shuttle if there is availability, NO Guarantees. Due to Alpine conditions we may cancel after arriving at the start. No refunds for any cancellations with in 24 hours. Full refunds for cancellations with more than 24 hours.

One way transport to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at Mangatepopo departing from the end (Ketetahi). Departing every hour 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 am

This is the cheapest hassle free option with parking in the only secure, off road car park which is located opposite Ketetahi. When you arrive at the end (Ketetahi) you will walk a short distance back to your car. No need to wait for a shuttle when you finish the 6-8 hour hike.
