For those new to snow sports, Treble Cone's snowsports school and beginners area offers gentle progression, located alongside the comforts of the Base Lodge and Café. For the more adventurous, Treble Cone is renowned for long, immaculately groomed runs and some of the best off-piste terrain in New Zealand - wide open faces and steep chutes filled with dry, cold snow.
On the mountain you'll find a warm welcome from the friendly staff, multiple cafés, a snow sports school, ski and snowboard rentals, accessory shop and medical centre.
Treble Cone is located a short 30 min drive from Wanaka - or just hop on board the free bus and take in the view.

Are their shuttles to the ski field?
There are multiple companies that provide daily group and private shuttle services(opens in new window) from Wanaka, Queenstown Airport and Queenstown to Treble Cone. Treble Cone offers a free return bus service from Wanaka to the resort to all lift pas holders twice daily. A free return 4WD shuttle bus allows guests to park their vehicle at the base of the access road and runs all day throughout the season.

What type of lessons does the ski area provide?
The Treble Cone Snowsports School(opens in new window) offers a range of ski and snowboard lessons and programmes for all ages and ability levels including first timers, group lessons, private lessons and week-long programmes.

Treble Cone has the Jazz Fun Park with small to intermediate jumps and boxes
Does the ski area offer any childcare or crèche services?
Treble Cone does not offer crèche style child care facilities, but ski and snowboard lessons are available for children aged 3-6. We can accommodate children under 3 if accompanied by a parent. Treble Cone has a free family chill zone where parents can accompany their children to play or rest indoors in a warm, dry and safe environment.
