A deposit of one-night's rate is due at the time of booking. The deposit will be fully refunded if cancellation is made 14 days or more prior to the date of arrival. Cancellation less than 14 days but more than 7 days prior to the date of arrival will result in loss of the deposit. Cancellation 7 days or less prior to the date of arrival will result in the full amount being charged, if the cottage is not re-let.
Karaka, Miro, and Rata cottages all have private decks with wonderful views of the surrounding estuary, mountains, and vineyards. They are set in 5 acres of organic orchard, gardens, and regenerating native bush. Located in the centre of the region, in the heart of Nelson's wine country, this is a perfect base for day trips to the Abel Tasman, Kahurangi, and Nelson Lakes National Parks.
We are just 2 km from the Great Taste Tasman Cycle Trail. Acclaimed wineries and artisan fare can be found throughout the surrounding countryside. The lively coastal village of Mapua has cafés, galleries, and shops, and is only 5 minutes' drive away. Free WIFI and good cellphone cover.
