A deposit of one-night's rate is due at the time of booking. The deposit will be fully refunded if cancellation is made 14 days or more prior to the date of arrival. Cancellation less than 14 days but more than 7 days prior to the date of arrival will result in loss of the deposit. Cancellation 7 days or less prior to the date of arrival will result in the full amount being charged, if the cottage is not re-let.
Located halfway between Nelson City & The Abel Tasman National Park, this is a place where you can spend all day outdoors exploring the Nelson/Tasman region or where you can be completely content moving no further than the deck. The cottages were built for apple pickers in the 1950s. They have been carefully renovated, retaining their simplicity and authentic charm while adding contemporary comfort. The apple orchard was taken out 20 years ago and the land is being restored to native coastal forest. Walking tracks around the 5-acre property take you through the emerging forest and around the shore of the inlet. It's a great place to relax into the rhythm of the tides, the wildlife, the weather, yet still be only 5 minutes' drive from Māpua.
