Lake Hāwea Station always has a seasonal arrival treat from Hana’s’ Living Kitchen waiting for you. From a whole cake to cookies baked with walnuts from our trees. You’ll also have organic butter, eggs and a selection of milks in your fridge – and maybe something from our garden. Our curated tea selection includes our LHS signature Breathe Deep tea, Blood Orange and Harney and Sons; Paris and English breakfast. L’Affare are our coffee partners and we stock fair trade and BioGro organic coffee.
We are happy to change dates of bookings if circumstances arise and we can refund bookings if the cancellations are made up to 4 weeks’ notice. Any later notice 50% of total payment may be refunded. We require upfront payments to confirm booking.
The Lake House has a scullery, laundry, fireside lounge, and movie room. Stoked hot tub and BBQ, wood store. A luxurious three couple retreat, or family residence sleeping 6 adults and 2 children. Packhorse Cottage bedroom walls tell stories of musters past, an historic collection of notes, some dating back to 1914. Two super king beds, & bunks, ideal for two couples or family 2 adults, up to 4 children. Full chefs kitchen, fireplace and dining space for up to 8 people, laundry, wraparound outdoor deck with BBQ and hot tub. Homespur Cottage is our studio residence, best suited for a couple or family with up to 2 small children. Kitchenette, with oven, large fireplace. Guests enjoy a complimentary arrival orientation.
