Farm Tour is not included, a separate fee applies if you wish to participate in this.
No children. No dogs or other pets allowed. No WIFI - enjoy a digital detox.
Full refund if cancelled up to 7 days prior to arrival date (less 10% Non-Refundable Deposit). If cancellation made within 7 days of arrival date then a loss of 50% of the total booking price. Cancellation within 48 hours of arrival incurs a charge of 100% of full rate. In the event I can rebook the room then a full refund will be given. We recommend that you have travel insurance.
The Shepherd's Rest shepherds hut is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults - no children allowed. The hut is on a hillside & has views over farmland and the Kakanui Ranges.
It has a queen size bed with fairy lights to create a bit of magic. A kitchenette with a fridge, electric jug, toaster, rice cooker, cutlery, crockery & pots/pans, plus a table & 2 chairs for dining, games & reading material. The ensuite bathroom area contains a shower & Bambooloo composting toilet.
Relax in the outdoor bath. Our 4 alpaca & 2 pet sheep will keep you entertained. The Cape Cod chairs are comfy for stargazing. Linen & fluffy bathrobes provided.
The hut doesn't have WIFI, we encourage our guests to disconnect and enjoy the country surrounds.
