Pre-scheduled per person on a shared tour which includes the entrance fee to Wai-O-Tapu Park.
You will join Scott Tours for a journey to Rotorua. Our guests will be guided around Wai-O-Tapu park by Geoff your Driver/Tour Director. This is a leisurely walk with plenty of stops for photo opportunities. One not-to-miss highlight of the Wai-O-Tapu guided day tour is the “Mud Pool”. This feature was the site of a large mud volcano which was destroyed through erosion in the 1920′s. It now provides an opportunity to experience the captivating noise of bubbling mud. The tour around the Park takes approximately 2 hours, but can be shortened if required. Wai-O-Tapu has a cafe and gift shop on site. Lunch is not included in this tour. We recommend walking shoes and sunhats in Summer.
