국제 무대에서 잘 알려진 뉴질랜드 패션 브랜드는 카렌 워커, 월드, 잠베시, 놈 디가 대표적이지만 그밖에도 뉴질랜드 패션계를 주도하는 디자이너들이 아주 많다. 케이트 실베스터와 니콜라스 블랑쳇은 이미 중견 디자이너로 자리를 굳혔으며 나탈리야 쿠시야와 타냐 칼슨은 신세대 감성과 도시적 세련미를 겸비한 신예 유망주다. 해마다 개최되는 뉴질랜드 패션 위크는 뉴질랜드의 패션 디자인, 테일러링이나 스타일을 세계에 널리 알리는 좋은 행사다.
