Enjoy coffee and a coastal train transfer to the trailhead (private transfer also available). On arrival, we’ll equip you with snacks, a picnic lunch, water and sunscreen. The 10 km trail climbs to 220 metres and takes about 3 hours, depending on fitness and pace - with 1,200 steps, it’s not for the faint-hearted. (Intermediate fitness required). Your local guide will bring the Track to life with stories of Aotearoa New Zealand’s history and culture, and the region’s conservation efforts. Take in sweeping views of Kāpiti Island before unwinding in a charming coastal village. Pause for café refreshments, dip your toes in the ocean, then return to the city.
